Privacy Policy

The short version

• The retirement calculator runs locally in your browser. The numbers you enter are never sent to us or stored on our servers.
• The website does not require an account and does not ask for personal data to use the calculator.
• We collect your email address only when you choose to give it — by joining the early-access waitlist or emailing us.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers.

Calculator inputs

Everything you type into the calculator (age, income, savings, return assumptions, and so on) is processed on your device to produce your projection. These figures are not transmitted to Roveno and are not stored on any server we control.

Waitlist signups

If you join the early-access waitlist, we store the email address you submit and, optionally, the feature you said matters most to you. We use this only to let you know when the app is ready and to understand which features people want. You can ask us to remove your entry at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Email you send us

If you email us — for example to ask a question or send feedback — we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply to you.

Analytics and diagnostics

We do not currently run usage analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

We may use privacy-preserving error monitoring to help us fix technical problems. When it is enabled for a deployment, it records technical details about an error and the page address where it happened. It is designed not to capture the financial figures you enter into the calculator.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. The website and our backend are run through hosting and database providers that store waitlist entries on our behalf, and if you email us your message is handled by our email provider — in each case only to the extent needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information where required by law.

Data retention

The calculator stores nothing on our side, so there is nothing for us to retain from your use of it. We keep waitlist entries until the early-access programme ends or you ask us to remove yours, and we keep any email you send us for as long as needed to handle your request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export any personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. The only personal data we may hold is your waitlist entry or an email you sent us; to access or delete it, contact us at support@roveno.net.

Children

Roveno is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a feature that collects data. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
